FAQ

Our insurance is the best available. We’re not “just” a bonded cleaning service, but have liability, crime and employee accident coverage. Your home, our team members and The Maids are included in the coverage. If you’d like, we will send you a certificate validating our insurance.

The Maids backs all cleaning service work with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you’re unhappy with any area we’ve cleaned, just call within 24 hours and we’ll come back and re-clean it free of charge.

It’s your choice. Many customers of our house cleaning service prefer to give us a key. Others leave us a key in a safe place each visit. Alarm systems can either be left off or you can give us entry/exit codes. By far, the most efficient and problem-free way for everyone is for you to give us a key and alarm codes.

In the unlikely event your key is lost, there are no labels of your address or phone number. And, we’re insured for key replacement and re-keying your locks.

We work in teams of 3 or 4, one of whom is a Team Leader (supervisor). Our teams are the most efficient because each employee can concentrate on a specific task while in your home. Our cleaning service includes vacuuming, dusting, kitchens and bathrooms, all of which adhere to our unique 22 Step Ultimate Healthy Home Deep Cleaning System.

Please let our office manager know what you would like done and we will do our best to accommodate.

The Maids will always arrive at your home in one of our yellow company cars with our own cleaning products and equipment. All of our products are environmentally-preferable and are safe for small children and pets. Visit our Healthy Touch® page for more information about the products our cleaning service team members will use in your home.

We make every effort to have the same cleaning service team in your home. Occasionally there may be a change in a team member due to illness. The Maids team leader’s job is to learn your home and to teach the team members to deliver the quality that you would expect.

Team members are trained before they’re permitted to enter your home. Training continues as we learn about new products/methods and to reinforce prior training. Each team includes a Team Leader to see that cleaning tasks are correctly completed. Managers make periodic visits to homes to ensure we’re meeting cleaning service commitments. We even have a person dedicated to Quality Assurance and Training.

All employees of our cleaning service are required to fill out Form I-9, the employment eligibility verification form, and provide necessary employment eligibility documentation, before starting work.

Payment is due at time of service. You may pay by cash, personal check, ACH, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards. If you aren’t home during our first visit, we will ask you for the full estimated amount. If it takes less time than we estimated, we will refund the difference or apply it to our next visit, as you prefer. On regularly scheduled visits, we ask you to leave payment on the kitchen countertop. If you prefer to pay by credit card, we will handle that process from our office.

Yes. The most frequent amount is $480 which provides for 2 hours cleaning by a 4 person team, or 2 hours and 30 minutes by a three person team. Typically this allows for an initial deep cleaning service of approximately 2,000 square feet.
